Born in Santo Domingo on 8 November 1979, she grew up living in poverty with her grandmother in the Dominican Republic. Dania joined her parents in the US aged 10. She was discovered by a modelling scout and has gone on to become one of the most successful Latin actresses in Hollywood, appearing in The Sopranos, Entourage, Heroes and Devious Maids among other hit shows. Her movie credits include Premium Rush.
