Soles, the name which she has kept, belonged to her first husband. Her second husband was actor Denis Quaid. They met while filming Our Winning Season. While raising kids took her away from full-time work, she still managed to chalk up some more credits in movies such as Rock 'n' Roll High School, Alienator and Rob Zombie movie The Devil's Rejects.
