Born and educated in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Roselyn later studied at the University Of Puerto Rico, before moving to New York to study dancing, acting and singing. She won attention in Puerto Rico as a dancer and as co-host of a variety show called Qué Vacilón. In 1993, she won the Miss Puerto Rico Petite contest and, a year later, the international title of Miss American Petite, bringing her international fame. She has appeared in countless sexiest and most desirable magazine lists since. Roselyn released her first album, Borinqueña, in 2003. Its first single, Amor Amor, won a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Music Video. Roselyn wrote and starred in the music movie Yellow, about a singer-dancer/actress who leaves Puerto Rico to make it big in New York.
