Malin was born in Stockholm on 12 May 1978. Although raised in Canada after her parents emigrated when she was just two, Malin remains fiercely proud of her roots and is fluent in Swedish.
She began appearing in TV commercials in Toronto when she was just 5. The 34-26-35 beauty became a successful catwalk model in Europe before launching her acting career. Malin has starred in many television shows and movies such as 27 Dresses, Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle and The Comeback. Although she's probably best known for her breakthough role as pvc-clad babe Laurie Jupiter/Silk Spectre in Watchmen.
