Born in Berdiansk, Ukraine, on 14 November 1979, she grew up the daughter of a divorced and impoverished art teacher in The Ukraine. Her big break came aged 13 on a trip to Moscow, where a modelling agent spotted her at a subway station. She was Paris modelling by aged 16 and on the covers of legendary magazines like Elle and Vogue aged 18. A short marriage and divorce led to a change of career. After acting studies, she won her first movie role in 2005. Her role as Russian beauty Nika Boronina in Hitman established her with a reputation for playing strong and beautiful women. The massive break of playing Camille in the Bond movie Quantum of Solace followed soon after. The big roles continue to pour in. Olga was cast opposite Tom Cruise in Oblivion and in 2014 co-starred with Russell Crow in The Water Diviner, for which she learnt Turkish.
